40 Days For Life

Picture
40 Days for Life is an international, faith-based, pro-life advocacy group that campaigns against abortion in over 56 nations worldwide. It was originally started in 2004 by a local group in Bryan-College Station, Texas, led by David Bereit. The name refers to a pattern of several events lasting for 40 days repeated in the Bible, such as in Noah's Ark, Moses's 40 days on Mount Sinai, and Jesus's 40 days in the desert. By the grace of God, 40 Days for Life has achieved a stunning track record of life-saving results since officially launching in 2007 and is rapidly becoming a worldwide movement.

The campaign is active in the fall and spring of each year, though local campaigns may continue on throughout the year.

Ascension Publishing

Picture
For over 20 years, Ascension has been the faith formation leader in the Catholic (universal) Church serving small groups in nearly 10,000 parishes across America. Ascension offers numerous faith formation programs and studies to fulfill The Great Commission.  Ascension programs are designed to not only offer rich Catholic content, but to also meet people where they are and offer a transformational experience, showing the truth, beauty, and joy of Christ and his Church. The presence of Jesus through Ascension's programs brings the power and richness of the Christian Faith into parish centers, private homes, and even online communities. In the process of coming back to the Catholic-Orthodox Church in 2017, I joined the The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation small group in my local parish. It was amazing and I gained a much fuller perspective on God's plan of salvation both historically and spiritually.

Celebrate Recovery

Picture
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered, biblically-balanced program that helps people overcome their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It's based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. Saddleback Church (in Lake Forest, CA here is the U.S.) launched Celebrate Recovery over 25 years ago and was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery is now in over 20,000 churches worldwide! In 2011, I became involved with Celebrate Recovery through my local church at the time and it's been a life-changing experience ever since.

Christian Women in Media Association

Picture
Christian Women in Media Association is a group of precious women with great vision for restoration in the media industry.

Christian Women in Media Association is a fellowship dedicated to connecting women working in all forms of media in purpose and vision. They provide a framework for networking, opportunities for professional and personal development and work toward advancing media-and Christian women in it. I was introduced to Christian Women in Media in 2009. Since then, I have connected with and developed relationships with some the best women I've ever had in my life.

Communion with God Ministries

Picture
Communion with God Ministries (CWG) is the premier spiritual development and leadership training center that delivers its curriculum based on the Hebrew revelation-based teaching and learning model (Lamad) where students receive biblically-based revelation, perception and illumination from the Holy Spirit and apply that knowledge in every aspect of their lives.

Whether in a small group, a classroom or a church service, revelation-based learning is cultivating an atmosphere where revelation and illumination from the Holy Spirit is received, honored and put into practical application.

Freedom in Christ Ministries

Picture
Freedom in Christ Ministries (FICM) began under the leadership of Dr. Neil T. Anderson in 1988 while he served as chairman of the practical theology department of Talbot School of Theology (at Biola University), La Mirada, CA. Dr. Anderson observed that Christian students struggling in their faith had several common issues: they didn’t understand what it meant to be “in Christ” and they weren’t experiencing that “Abba, Father!” connection to God as His children. They also were not winning the spiritual battles for their minds.

Dr. Anderson is the author of the The Steps to Freedom in Christ and The Bondage Breaker that have been used to help tens of thousands of people both in the U.S. and around the world.

Institute of Catholic Culture

Picture
The Institute of Catholic Culture has been one of the greatest blessings I've received since returning to the Catholic-Orthodox Church in 2017. Founded by Rev. Franklyn McAfee, S.T.D., and Fr. Hezekias Carnazzo, M.A. (who has since become a great friend on my journey), the Institute was established in 2009 as a non-profit Catholic educational institute specializing in adult faith formation at no charge for its members. The Institute offers authentic parish Catholic adult faith formation opportunities, live and on-demand video streaming of its programs and CD production of past seminars. Today, the Institute has over 900 hours of catechetical programs through its on-line media library.
